Job Requirement:

Global Psychometrician/ Global Certification Manager
Psychometricians construct tests and interpret results for the purpose of assessing a person's intelligence, personality, skills or other psychological attributes. They ensure the accuracy and validity of exams and gather data that will be instrumental to improving the performance of an individual, diagnose an impairment or determine aptitude for particular tasks.
 
This role is responsible for ensuring that certifications meet the requirements established for accreditation by organizations such as ANSI and NCCA. The role reports to the Group president and is part of a matrix organization with dotted line responsibilities to each certification’s general manager.
 
Specific duties include:
Manage program of the creation of new certification exams to ensure they meet accreditation requirements
Facilitate the Job Task Analysis (JTA) and other requirements during the creation or update of our certification exams
Create beta tests for new exams and analyze results to establish a passing grade
Keep up to date on the requirements for a certification to be accredited
Keep up to date on the organizations that accredit certifications
Other duties as assigned
 
Requirements:
Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
Ph.D. in psychology or related science
Experience in test design and development, analysis including experience with assessment management systems
Experience in test theory (IRT and Classical)
Advanced training in psychometric research including item response theory, scaling and equating methods
Advanced knowledge of measurement topics generalizability theory, Bayesian methodology, and various standard setting methodologies is desirable
Preferably led an organization to one of the accreditation(s) ANSI/NCCA
Outstanding public speaker/facilitator
Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to travel internationally up to 35% of the time
 
Strong preference for:
PhD in psychology or related science
Certification experience
Training experience
